[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I did the fixing auto sleep thing. I have a Corsair PSU but no USB connection.
What should the energy saving settings be?
We should disable the following:
  • Wake for network access
  • Power Nap
If this also does not help, then we'll need to examine the log as follows:
  • Select: Apple Menu --> Sleep.
  • Let the system alone for about 30-40 seconds.
  • Wake up the system.
  • Open Terminal.
  • Type pmset -g log | tail -100 > ~/Documents/sleeplog.txt
  • This will generate a file called sleeplog.txt in the Documents folder.
  • Please upload that file.

Hi Casey, I have read conflicting reports on the need for having the WEG kext if you have a Vega 64. Running 10.4.6, do we need WEG if we have iGPU, Vega 64, and iMac19,1?
Some users have reported that their system runs fine without WhateverGreen, but they needed to add the Apple AGDP patch in Clover Configurator --> Kernel and Kext Patches. I haven't tried this myself, however.

Sleep is still messy for me. This morning, I couldn't even sleep once. Bounced right back to the login screen. After a shutdown, it works again.

Hello, sorry about my English. I use Google translator. I helped two people put hackintosh on Z390 Designare, and twice ran into a problem: Thunderbolt disappeared from the BIOS settings. The TB board died. If it were once, you can assume a defective motherboard. Can you tell me what the reason might be? At a nearby forum read this:
At this point in the section Peripherals/Thunderbolt, use these settings:
IMPORTANT!! Do not change the settings inside the red square!! They could kill your PCI-TB card.

Could that be the reason?
Are you using firmware version F7? There are several Thunderbolt settings in your screenshot that I haven't seen with my F6 version. It is possible to configure the system incorrectly, but most often this is related to over-zealous over-clockers. However, there's no need to change those values. We should only modify firmware settings when there's a valid reason.

@CaseySJ Followed all your suggestions, but still no way to make VirtualSMC 1.07 to work, as side effect ,still can't log in FaceTime

Thanks again, for your time!!

Installed EmuVariableUefi-64.efi and iMessage/FaceTime seems OK now, seems like if you move it away from your EFI folder, once you log in iMessage , iM/FT keeps working

Which Vega 64 card works best with this build?
I wanted to get the Radeon VII originally but it's already discontinued. Thanks.

The log...
...shows that your system is entering DarkWake instead of Sleep. Are you sure that "Enable Power Nap" is turned off in System Preferences --> Energy Saver?
