Any ideas why App Store can't download items? I'm able to log into my account successfully but nothing will download.

Never mind, a restart fixed it and now downloads are fine.

Hmm. The BruceX test is taking quite a long time (10 minutes!) using FCPX 10.4.5. System Profiler is correctly showing the Intel Iris Plus 655. I'll have to figure out where the bottleneck is.

Edit: Cinebench scores are around 788 cb and 42fps for OpenCL. This sounds about right for the GPU. Must be something with FCP and possibly 10.14.3 causing that render to be slow.

For anyone that is getting lockups on restart, sleep, shutdown etc. : Add EmuVariableUefi-64.efi to your EFI/EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI. Fixed this issue completely for me.

I have the same problem. My machine fails at 13 minutes too. Have you found any solution? My memory is Corsair Vengeance 2400 32gb and 970 Evo plus 1TB

I've all but given up. Any chance you've been able to figure out a solution? We're both using the same model SSD and RAM. Wondering if that's the issue.

Edit - I apologize for not searching first through different threads. Looks as though the Evo Plus series drives don't work.

Nope, I havent found any solution yet. For the moment I”m running winblows 10 on my machine. I have nearly 3.5 GB/s r/w in Winblows so I hope that someone could find the magic sause to make this drive work.

How do you get stuck on installation? does it just freeze or restarts? It always freezed and restarted right after during copying of a system data. Always in a different time but never made it to the end.

Yeah, I realized today when after rereading this guide as well, I had somehow forgotten to copy those .efi files to the SSD EFI. Thanks for your work! I have every feature working now except WiFi which is expected.

Thank you very much for the guide. I've followed it, so I think, to a T, yet the install from USB fails with 2min left. I'm running
Intel NUC8i5BEK
2x8GB DDR4-2666 SODIMM
Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If there's something that's addressed this and I've missed that, apologies in advance.

Thanks for the pointer re profile.
I have attached the screenshot of the last screen in verbose mode, as well as a pic of where the installation stalls, at which point mouse is unresponsive, the fan increases, and I eventually unplug the power supply.
