Mine has always just restarted. I keep mine running anyway and reboot to test things or switch to windows for gaming.

If you want shutdown to work just install

EmuVariableUefi-64.efi
OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi

Now shutdown works for me.

Still just restarts. Hibernate err deep sleep works now though. I had that working the past as well, but couldn't remember what I did. I'm going to try different OsxAptio's to see if another one or none at all would work better for my situation.

Edit:
OK, it didn't work because I left AptioMemoryFix.efi enabled.
I removed that and your way works. It also works without any Aptio fix's, but the screen goes black during the first part of the OSX boot process, but then comes back. Right now I'm using OsxAptioFix3Drv-64. Seems to work similarly to yours, but with the added benefit of being part of Clover Configurator. I'm going to save this Clover folder and add it to the 1st post.
First I'm going to play with the other EFI fixes I have in my EFI folder. I don't like the fact that it takes 34 seconds to boot. Even my slow Macbook Air boots in 4 seconds...

Found out my issue is with trim and I'll just have to deal with it, lol.

I found this entry after a long timeout. Had to catch it via video.
spaceman_trim_free_blocks:3245: scan took 10.743583s, trims took 10.082036s.

So trim being enable is making it slow?

Yes but being NVME I have no choice (you can't turn off trim). I saw another post saying to format HFS and clone a fresh install from a SATA drive and that would fix it. It's not that serious to me so I'm just going to let it be.

Hi @psedog, so I am building an almost identical build to yours. First of all I want to thankyou for your work on the usb 3.0. I'm in the same boat at present with only usb 2.0 all round. I'm going to try tomorrow to add the file you attached to hopefully fix the problem. I also want to ask. How did you disable on board Bluetooth. Currently it shows as working in the top right status bar but I can't connect to any devices. Therefore I assume I need to disable this and use my USB Bluetooth dole I purchased. Would I be correct in doing this? Can you get the onboard Bluetooth working? Thanks.

I wrote about it in the first post.

As far as I know no one has made a kext to get the onboard bluetooth to work on OSX. Just grab a Broadcom card on ebay and a PCIe converter. That's what I did at least.

Very new to hackintosh. I have the gigabyte z390 aorus pro wifi and just realized that the integrated (so I believe integrated because the chip is behind all kinds of heat shields) wifi and bt Intel chip will not work. I need to disable it so the usb bluetooth I bought will be recognized (I will buy a WIFI card next - :)). In the first page says you disable the Intel wifi and bt but you did not mentioned how. Any help will be appreciated.

I did, but it wasn't clear. I've updated the first post to make it more clear.

Excerpt.
To disable the built in Wifi/Bluetooth card add the following Custom Flag under Boot in Clover.
uia_exclude=HS14

Hackingsosh newbie too

Thanks for @psedog and lots of members instruction.
I use psedog's "09Feb19 clover" files with iGPU config.plist and finally my onboard iGPU and reboot/shutdown work fine.

Stuck in audio.
There's 2 Line Out in Sound Preference Output and none of them working.
AppleALC.kext and Lilu.kext are in /Library/Extensions and kext utility is used to load them.
Any feedback is appreciated !
