UniBeast: Install macOS Mojave on Any Supported Intel-based PC

Migrating from Yosemite (finally) to Mojave to use Google Drive File Stream.

Clean install to new SSD via installation guide worked perfectly.

Unable to boot into new Mojave, but transferring USB install EFI to SSD boot EFI fixed.

Network, sound, etc all working.

Some graphic glitches. No USB 3.0. And sound lost after 10.14.1 update.

I formatted my drive to APFS and installed MacOS with no problems whatsoever. Plus it enabled trim support automatically

Thank you I'll give it a try
did removing additional drives work for you? Im getting the exact error that you are getting when trying to do a clean install. However, I DID have multiple drives attached. I gave up and deleted the installer but wanted to check with you before I go through the hassle again.

Got audio working again on 10.14.1 for Realtek ALC887 audio codec...but only after MUCH trial and error
Following Toleda's guidance, ensured:
1. AppleALC.kext and Lilu.kext installed in Lib/Ext, Sys/Lib/Ext AND EFI/Clover/kexts/Other
2. Used Clover Configurator to inject '7' in Audio devices (worked for me)
This is where deviates...
3. Also downloaded and installed Voodoo. Didn't think necessary but this install only seems to give Sound Menu with VoodooHDA.kext! :O (once sound working, I deleted Voodoo pref.pane and kext, but then didn't get options. Reinstalled and back to normal. So go figure...)
4. Happy to have sound back!.
5. Now all I need is Nvidia driver. The lag/glitches is driving me nuts!!!. I'll happily buy the latest Radeon card if no alternative, but love my Nvidia card and would prefer to stay with it.
6. All is sweet in Windows 10...

It seems you never, EVER mention that certain AMD cards work OOTB. I had a GTX 1070 throughout El Cap, Sierra, and High Sierra...but couldn't upgrade to Mojave because of it. Sold it, grabbed an AMD RX 580, stuck it in with NO modifications to macOS, booted up no problem. Went to app store, upgraded to Mojave. Not one single problem. Since then...I believe I'm going back to team red.

my main issue is getting my Corei9 9980XE to see more than 1 core with current Multibeast . Must be System Def issue. Need iMac Pro 1,1 ?

Gigabyte Designare MoBo, AMD 7000, i9 9980XE ,128GB RAM

When I tried to create a bootable disk with the new version of UniBeast, v.9.0.0, I kept getting the following error message while looking for an available USB flash drive.

View attachment 355277

I tried with two different USB flash drives, 64GB and 128GB, formatted with Mac OS Extended and GUID. I tried on a different Mac, but got the same error message.

Any idea why? Do I need a smaller USB flash drive?

Thank you very much for the easy-to-follow guide!
I always use a 16G USB to do the UNIBEAST, I did with 8G, 16G and 32G all fine. I think deal to the OS does not accept a partition greater than 32G.

Holly crap! I fixed it.

My bad... I did not know Mojave hides the GUID partition option... Why the heck is it hidden? Anyways, on to installation!!!

Thank you for your help. You rock man.

Good news

Yes the latest GUI version of DiskUtil has been simplified and doesn't show as much detail. The partition details are not clear enough. The Terminal version still has everything, but isn't as friendly

:)

for discussion purposes how is my configuration which i have uploaded on a thread. is there any way to narrow it down. because when i narrow it down to size it does not work
