nVidia 9800 GT runs on a hack. I see only artificial limitations in this.
Yeah, but this is not a solution, the Graphic card should work as expected, let's wait a bit, there may be a solution soon.

I read that the Nvidia web drivers are linked to the Nvidiahal kexts. Can someone with the web drivers installed post a pic of their extensions folder with NVDAGF100hal"web"kexts? The post I read had NVDAGF100halwebkext and NVDAGF100halkextr as well.

Has anyone tried replacing the Mojave Hal kexts with High Sierra and trying the web drivers? ***If you try these make sure to repair permissions and rebuild caches.

I just found very interesting info here

Doesn't work with Mojave. Mojave needs new Metal 2 drivers.

Yes, but people are getting older cards to work with OpenGL and or Cl Kexts/drivers which is better than nothing until new web drivers come if they come.
Metal is important but if any type of acceleration is possible that would help ease the pain.

I did it with the Mojave public beta and it wasn't a good experience. That experience led to me selling my GTX 745.

Hi, my opinions,
I don't believe Nvidia has Mojave drivers ready. I don't believe Apple is blocking anything. I think Nvidia is making excuses and diverting customers to complain to Apple. I think all this is an ill conceived attempt by Nvidia to force Apple to get their cards to be officially approved for eGPU by Apple.

Judging by this fiasco, I don't know how anyone can have faith/confidence that Nvidia will release timely drivers for macOS updates in the future.

Well it seems to be at least partially working (the drivers are loaded):

And CUDA doesn't complain anymore on startup:

However, Metal seems not to be supported:

And what is worse, DAZ Studio (even the latest public beta) won't even launch -- it gets stuck on splash screen.

Reason for the former must be the lack of OpenGL in any form whatsoever -- I see only Software Renderer:

Without OpenGL support Mac OS is useless for me.

It was already not that fun of experience before this whole Mojave fiasco, now it's just icing on the cake.
