Nah, I just made a mistake when I copied the text in my earlier post, HS12 is paired with SSP3, and it is in the info.plist

The ASRock doesn't have a fancy colorthing like the Asus Aura, it may have a USB2.0 interface but I haven't seen it. Also, when I originally created that file I had the nolimit patch applied, if there was a USB device attached to HS10 or 11, I would have seen it.
And in any case, seeing that would be unusable under macOS why bother?

Great to have the thing with HS12 and SSP3 clarified.

You would not see it in IOREG until some device would use it maybe at the users side. HS14 with Aura was just an example. I also needed to add HS13 subsequently, as some users reported device failures at their side without implementing it in addition.
I would have added H10 and H11 with USBConnector number 255 at least to the fully implemented kext and likely dropped it in the 15-port kext. Anyway, your kexts ;)..

Just uploaded both files to the XHC USB Kext Library.. Thanks for all efforts and fruitful discussions

Hey @kgp, This is a bit complicated.. Ive got your Vega SSDT, Ive renamed the Graphic card name etc. Toleda says GFX0 is not nescessary for cards other than The Frontier on iMac pro 1,1.. I do not know what values to replace in there or what to look for in the IoReg to add to the SSDT. Also what to do with ATY,Kamarang? is this to also be replaced?

If Toleda says so... Why you ask me then? Only change ACPI path and ACPI replacements if necessary.

Good luck,

KGP

I have the FE and do not use an SSDT for it.

The only SSDT I have is NVME Icon to see it as internal and that's it. System works flawlessly.

This is not the case.. the Vega-SSDT has a "PP_PhmSoftPowerPlayTable", which directly acts on your AMD GPU performance (OC, Fans, etc.).. It can severely harm your GPU if not properly adjusted. Moreover it is important for sleep/wake and also injects other GPU and Display properties.

Hey @kgp Toleda had put up a post in the forum for Native Discrete GPU power Management with is where i he was saying GFX0 is not required in case of a card other than the Vega on a iMac pro 1,1 Smbios. I am not to sure what exactly is the ACPI path and Replacements for my card and where exactly it is to be added. is it to be added in the SSDT or in clover.config? Im trying to adopt those changes looking at your Vega.ssdt but its proving to be challenging to figure out what to precisely change or replace

Just asking to see if you can point me to a guide or a specific section to find the Paths and ACPI replacements. like in your old SSDT guide

No need to touch config.plist. Just adopt Vega-SSDT. To get familiar with SSDT editing see post #4806

Thanks mate! ill look into that, should I be disabling the SLO5 to GFX0 patch in config.plist ?

If you use my latest EFI-Folder, the SL05 -> GFX0 replacement is anyway not part of the config.plist. Nothing to disable in this case. If you use an older version of my EFI-Folder, yes disable it.

I really recommend to use the actual version of my EFI-Folder.
