@RehabMan
Injecting edid doesn't fix the issue neither trying different IG-Platform-iD tried both on 591B and 5916, same result.

Here are PR files

Did you try other values for EDID byte 20?

I did try the A5 as it is on current pr files and the B5 for iMac (only those two values were mentioned on the post related to this)
95 was the native EDID value.

But both of them did give me similar result.

This was an issue that was fixed by patching edid 10.13.5 and below.
On High Sierra 10.13.6 the issue was solved and i didnt need patched edid anymore, wonder what has changed that brought this issue back.
Now even patched edid doesn't solve it.

Is there any other value for byte 20 that you would recommend trying ?

It might not even be the same issue...
Have you tried Skylake spoof?

@RehabMan should i try the config_620-sklspoof.plist ?

I did try with the device-id and ig-platform-id that are set on the plist file but i have no acceleration with it, should i change something ?

Or is it possible that config_....sklspoof.plist has incorrect device/ig platform id as it was with the last one ?

Thanks... Missed fixing that one. New file pushed to github.

Thanks, i saw someone else having similar issue "on mojave thread here" like mine and i believe he fixed with skylake spoof.
Will give it a try and i believe this is my last issue for this laptop, everything else seems to be working very well.

Extra question, i saw that you changed SSDT-GPRW to enable or disable the patches via SSDT-RMCF.
Which & why would we need to have that disabled, is instant fix after sleep fixed or there is another reason for that.

The reason for that feature is it can make creating guides that target multiple different laptops with slight differences easier to create. So... you can always patch via config.plist, always include SSDT-GPRW.aml, but then enable or disable the feature as needed via a custom SSDT-RMCF for each model laptop.

Is there any other requirement for Skylake spoof ?
I did add the config_HD615_620_630_640_650_spoof.plist and only added the DSDT & KextstoPatch Patches and everything related to my setup but even with the fixed .plist laptop instantly reboots at 70% boot Apple logo bar.

Is there any other requirement aside the .plist ?

You need to attach PR files.

Note: No idea if CoffeeLake is compatible enough with Skylake for the spoof to actually work. It is just something to try...
