The dark mode looks comically bad on a standard DPI display...

Worked fine doing a fresh install. Upgrade from High Sierra on second SSD is stuck at the loading bar after reboot (dunno how to fix). USB3 working. Audio could be fixed with latest applealc / lilu and different audio layout inject

Im going to update my 10.13.6 to Mojave tomorrow, does it need a specific version of Clover in order to work? or the one embedded into the latest Multibeast works fine?

I had this issue updating 10.13.4 to 10.13.6...I couldn't find anything on this forum that would help so I had to work to look elsewhere. These instructions should help you.

Thanks!

So I tried the steps you linked, this shows "No Updates are available" in the Terminal.

At one point before doing this I tried to update through the install tool downloaded from the AppStore and It rebooted showed for half a second that Mojave was installing and again gave me that same error as before :"mac os could not be installed installer resources not found"

This doesn't make any sense why this is happening. I did go ahead and convert the "Data" Drive to APFS from HFS, and updated Clover on the new build SSD. That now shows a blank screen when I try to boot, the only way to get into the new build or the old one is to hit F12 upon boot select the OLD drive and then older Clover comes up and I can boot into either one. I can deal with this part later, I just want to install Mojave!!

Not Working. Please help

I think we got trolled. Nvidia drivers aren't released yet. Best not to update yet if you have a recent Nvidia card (9/10 series).

successfully updated, all who have not earned nvidia drivers - open the Terminal and enter

bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Benjamin-Dobell/nvidia-update/master/nvidia-update.sh)

Then reboot!

Using this script makes the driver loading indeed, but it's not enough to have full acceleration. The card is correctly detected on system informations, but doesn't show any Metal support and so the UI is degraded even though the driver is loaded.

It seems that the 10.13.x version of Web driver doesn't fully work on Mojave, and that Nvidia users will really need to way for the next Nvidia driver update.

EDIT: Apparently Mojave relies heavily on Meta 2 API, and the web drivers are not yet fully compatible with this new Metal version. So clearly Nvidia users will need to wait on a proper Nvidia Web Driver update for Mojave. Let's hope Nvidia already worked on it with the beta versions of Mojave, and that a proper update will come in the next few days.

Updated the second it appeared for me on App Store.

  • Outcome of the installation/update: SUCCESSFUL
  • macOS version prior update: macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra
  • Clover version: Clover r4674
  • Time for update: 40 minutes
  • Additional notes: I think it restarted 3 times. If you get a kernel panic on reboot, select "FileVault Prebooter From Preboot".
Thats amazing you were able to update from High Sierra 10.13.6! I just download it and will update one of my secondary OS X SSDs and see if it goes well.

Thanks!

Ensure that you have Mojave downloaded to your hard drive using the App Store before you attempt the steps.
