Using Clover r4658.

Downloaded the Installer from the AppStore and used it to update my system.
The total install time was 31 minutes.

After the installation there was no Audio - so I did a reboot and voila - the audio patching did its magic.

My UEFI Drivers are:
  • ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi
  • AppleImageCodec-64.efi
  • AppleKeyAggregator-64.efi
  • AppleUITheme-64.efi
  • AptioInputFix-64.efi
  • AptioMemoryFix-64.efi
  • DataHubDxe-64.efi
  • FSInject-64.efi
  • FirmwareVolume-64.efi
  • PartitionDxe-64.efi
  • SMCHelper-64.efi
  • UsbKbDxe-64.efi
  • UsbMouseDxe-64.efi
  • VBoxExt4-64.efi
  • VBoxHfs-64.efi

and my kexts (on the EFI partition) are:
  • AppleALC.kext
  • FakeSMC.kext
  • Lilu.kext

I might be able to ditch the VBox drivers but I have not had time to experiment with that yet.

Otherwise everything seems to work fine including USB3 ports and sleeping.

Updated successfully, just downloaded the installer from AppStore and run on High Sierra 10.13.6

Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H
i7-4790K
16 GB RAM DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 4600 with dual monitor HDMI + DVI
SSD Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB work with Trim enabled

Clover 4676
Kext:
  • AppleALC.kext by toleda with Clover Inject
  • AppleIntelE1000e.kext
  • FakeSMC.kext
  • Lilu.kext
  • NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
  • WhateverGreen.kext
It works very well and looks faster than High Sierra!

Updated the second it appeared for me on App Store.

  • Outcome of the installation/update: SUCCESSFUL
  • macOS version prior update: macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra
  • Clover version: Clover r4674
  • Time for update: 40 minutes
  • Additional notes: I think it restarted 3 times. If you get a kernel panic on reboot, select "FileVault Prebooter From Preboot".

That's so cool, real mac experience. Can your build get any more golden?

Downloaded the installer from App Store and upgraded from High Sierra with no problem. GPU would not work for some reason, and just now found out that lack of Metal support is the problem. Besides that however, everything seems to work just fine.

I can't update from El Capitan, can I?

Need help, I have downloaded Mojave from the Appstore and tried to do the install, it boots into installer and gives me an error: "mac os could not be installed installer resources not found"

Just built a new system on SSD (HS 10.13.6) just to test Mojave without making changes to my current system on another SSD (HS 10.13.6) everyday system in on M.2 SSD

Any ideas why I would run into that error?
I had this issue updating 10.13.4 to 10.13.6...I couldn't find anything on this forum that would help so I had to work to look elsewhere. These instructions should help you.

I am trying to update from High Sierra but the install keeps hanging at kextd stall 0 (240s) appleacpicpu anyone know what's going on?

Done on my good old 2008 hack, only replaced the telemetry.plugin (no SSE4.2 on my Xeon, same apply to core2duo's) + AppleALC & Lilu for the sound :

This update did NOT work on my previously flawless hackintosh. Black screen on boot plus other issues. Will continue to troubleshoot, but strongly recommend you do not do this upgrade until more information available.
