hello everyone,
I was using Samsung 850 since 2013 and HWMonitor shows 97% of SSD Remaining life. Since 1 month, using Evo 860 with Trim Support Enable and shows 99% of SSD Reaming Life HFS+. Is it good to change to APFS? Because I'm going to perform clean install. Thank you guys for maintaining this amazing site.

Update from App Store. All ok but no more Realtek alc887 audio embedded in the mono
Audi via USB works ok.
Tried to update drivers with Multibest but no results.
Any suggestion is really appreciated

Restored AppleHDA.kext and kext patches with Clover and now embedded audio is back.

1º updated to last version of high sierra using apple update (rebooted)

2º updated to last version of clover (rebooted)

3º updated to last nvidia drivers (rebooted) and BOOOM i get black screen...

im using nvidia GTX 1060 6GB maybe i need updated versions of Lilu.text and NvidiaGraphicsFixup.text ? any fix for this?

No luck for me. I install the update form the MAS. Computer reboots. I select th boot from the install disk from eh clover (4458) menu, then it gets about an inch into the progress indicator and stalls. Ug. If this helps, here’s where it stalls

Try boot arg. nv_disable=1, go to system preferences and disable nv web drivers, if you get in to OS reload web drivers and then reboot.

i had the same problem. I noticed that VBoxHfs-64.efi was missing in CLOVER > drivers64UEFI. Copied it from the EFI-Backups folder and I was able to boot.

How do you access the folder to copy the file when you can't boot the Mac partition?

Go to the forum's Downloads > Clover Builds.

Download the latest Clover build for your Nvidia system > Clover UEFI Boot Mode with Emulated NVRAM v2.4k r4428.

Run it and reboot.

Not needed. I've updated my Clover a couple of times. The tonymacx86 Clover installer is meant to run right on your Desktop. Download the installer, run it and then reboot. It's that easy.

How are the web drivers used by the 10.13.5 updated? I mean in the intermediary step of booting from the boot install disk that is only there when upgrading, are the web drivers used for that somehow?
