My trackpad is no longer being detected correctly. I was able to see other options and it looked different in system preference. It was also more responsive. Please assist. Perhaps something is not installed correctly. I reinstalled the kext, entire clover folder no change.

Resolved: Had to delete the Kext from the Clover Folder and then run the installation which installed the Kext back to the Clover folder. Now Trackpad is working.

Hi guys ,
I just want to check if someone have the Handoff option working , I don’t see even the option in the general tab.
I got a Bluetooth dongle that works great and my Notebook connected to the internet with Ethernet.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

You don't need to change anything on customize.

The main idea:
1. copy to pendrive the OSX installer, just folow one of the tutorial you will need an external application to download it.
2. execute Clover Daliansky, and next next next. but selecting the pendrive as destination installation.
3. reboot computer selecting boot from pendrive, and install the mac.
4. once booted on osx, run inside the clover installer, selecting the localhardisk as destination. when it finishes the installation, it will mount the EFI partition.
5. copy updated files dowloaded from the github, delete in UEFI partition the folders boot and clover and copy the new ones. (remember to delete and copy not override)
6. just restart your computer and everythign will work.

Good Luck!

This isn't working. When I go to install clover it says that it doesn't work with that operating system. So I went back to customize to choose the UEFI boot only and it unchecked a bunch of stuff. Either I'm a complete idiot or these steps are more complicated than hackintosh used to be when it started (I built 3 hackintosh system back in the 10.6 days). Here's what I'm doing:

1. Create installation media from the official macOS installer 10.13.3 for High Sierra using the terminal.
2. Run Clover installer from the installer provided in the Github.
3. Point it to the newly created installation media.
4. Select customize > UEFI boot option. (several options uncheck automatically, I leave it as is).
5. Replace the files installed in the created EFI partition with the files provided in the github.
6. Stick it in the laptop and boot from it.
7. Select the mac option and then it just sits there on the Apple logo indefinitely. Let it sit overnight and nothing changed.

To be clear, I have the 15.6" i7-8550u 16gb model. Is it possible it's just my CPU being slightly (but not really) different and the spoofed version from the custom boot files doesn't work?

Check your disk, I had the same problem with a Windows partition that I couldn’t erase. I tried to format the ssd via utility disc from the bootable installation disc, but it failed and I had to remove every partition from the terminal manually. After that I was able to make a single hfs+ partition and the installation worked correctly. I don’t know if that’s your problem, but it’s the first thing that came to my mind.

I cleaned the SSD before trying this. If I dual boot, I'll add windows again later. One of the habits I picked up from hackintoshing way back when. But like my post says, I don't even get into the installer. It just sits on the Apple Logo forever. I tried one time with -v so I could see where it stopped and it wasn't useful at all. Stopped while printing a bunch of *s.
