macOS 10.13.4 Update

Update went fine.
Obligatory BlackScreen - need to reapply the AGDPfix.

But one thing feels odd - the reaction of my Mac (switch between apps or even switch tasks within safari) feels some kind of lagging or hanging. But when looking into activity monitor everything looks fine. Cpu-Usage about 20-30% and just 8GB of 16GB RAM used. Maybe someone has a clue?

@Sniki - Handoff/Continuity works (Safari-Popup @mac when using iPhone X or iPad Pro.) and vice versa.
Same for the Universal Clipboard.

Hi guys,

I can report 10.13.4 is running just fine on the Asus Z370 Prime P
Everything is pretty much in working order

I ran the gamut on this for weeks.
10.13.2 with nvidia .102 driver was the only stable combo, for me.
BUT HDMI to my Sony 40" Bravia was overly saturated/dark. Sucks!
Sierra 10.12.6 had the best quality display to date!!
I tried 10.13.4 yesterday with newest nvidia driver but it was not smooth, better than 10.13.3... and NO CUDA driver so its hard to say how it will be with Hardware Acceleration that works. However, HDMI to my Sony 40" was fixed! MUCH better. Once CUDA is out for 387.10.10.10.30.103 I'll try it again.

I used GitHub to install nvidia .106 with 10.13.4 and its Smooth running and the display is still good! Seems the display quality issue (for me at least) was more with the macOS version.

Great Site, Thankful Always for all the help!

I have a clone of my home workstation at my office too. I installed/updated to 10.13.4 with newest video ...30.103 and cuda. Not great, choppy and just NOT smooth! Sucks!!
I then used GitHub again to go back to ..10.106 and its perfectly smooth now.
WTF Apple???

What Apple has to do with screwed up NVIDIA drivers?!

Update: The new Nvidia Driver still keeps killing my whole system performance. As the last 4 releases, too. :banghead:

roll back to 378.10.10.10.25.106 - system at normal performance.
Still a big riddle for me how Nvidia can kill a whole system with their trashy driver releases :(

Well, I was using: XHCI-300-series-injector.kext, and USBInjectall.kext. And it was working great in 10.13.3.....the thing is, it got all the way through the upgrade (from the App store), seemed fine (I had removed my nVidia drivers entirely), and I was ready to boot into 10.13.4 and install the new nvidia drivers and bang, this happens...

If you boot without -v, what you see is the system loading and then the circle with a slash sign.

Maybe somebody else has seen this? Or has an idea of what it might indicate?

I will be building the same board (370), CPU (8700k) that you have. I am considering not using the GPU card. Have you solved this problem? Can you share your clover folder or config.plist?
