[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Hey RehabMan, and community!
Some stupid questions from me.
I will be happy, if will get answers on it.
On this topic 134 pages now, so I didn't read all of it.
I'm planning to buy Elitebook folio g1 1040, have anyone tested High Sierra on it ?
Any special known bugs?
And which wifi model will be better ? Is it Broadcom 4322/43224?

Thank you!

SSDT-PNLF.aml content is integrated into the model specific SSDT.
You should not add SSDT-PNLF.aml... it will cause conflict with the model specific SSDT.

Follow post #1 as written. Nothing less. Nothing more.

Thanks - it‘s working like a charm.

do you know if the HP Elitebook 820 G4 has a BIOS whitelisting?

i didn‘t find such an information via google. :(

Your audio configuration is not correct.
Remove AppleHDAHCD_ProBook.kext, AppleHDA_ProBook.kext (those two are mutually exclusive even if you did configure for using them).
Run install_downloads.sh.
As per guide...

Note: You installed on APFS. It is probably a mistake. Use HFS+J instead.

The issue persists (I don't remember why I have AppleHDAHCD_ProBook.kext and AppleHDA_ProBook.kext...)
I also tried on my motherboards gigabyte Z97X in APFS and Asus P5Q in HFS+J with
Cambridge Silicon Radio Bluetooth adapter... same problem. With El Capitan everything worked ...

Hello! I've successfully installed macOS Sierra 10.12 on my Elitebook 8470p, and everything seems to be working fine. The only problem is that when I first boot up macOS, it seems like the CPU stays in a "power saver" mode, because everything is really slow/laggy. The fix is sleeping the computer for a little while (20 mins?). Is there any fix? Thanks in advance :)

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete (EFI/Clover is missing).
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Note:
Code:
NUC6i7KYK:probook.git rehabman$ ./install_acpi.sh help |grep 1040
install_1040g1_haswell
install_1040g3_skylake

And:
Code:
NUC6i7KYK:probook.git rehabman$ ls -l config | grep 1040
-rwxr-xr-x@ 1 rehabman staff 20368 Dec 22 07:51 config_1040_G1_Haswell.plist

i didn‘t find such an information via google. :(

As per post #1, the only laptops covered by this guide that have WiFi whitelists in BIOS are those with 6-series chipset.
So... "No".

Thanks for this.
But will I be able install High Sierra ?
And want to make sure, if I will install wifi: Broadcom 4322/43224, wifi should be work, right ?

I upload the Probook file in the previous post,

Any change requires updated problem reporting files.

for the Gigabyte and Asus can I post it here?

No. This thread is only for the supported laptops as per post #1.
