I’m up and running but no sound. MultiBeast alc1220 didn't work. I’m a little confused about how much tinkering I need to do since the OPs guide was documented before official Coffee Lake support and the UniBeast/MultiBeast updates. I’m running same config but with GTX 770 and Samsung 960 EVO NVMe.

Nevermind. Got it. Renaming HDAS to HDEF, reset HDA and inject audio code 11 worked for me. For some reason, even when I did the manual noapfs command. it still converted to APFS when I ran the installer from terminal...I was wanting to stick with HFS+... I'm gonna mess around and see if I prefer to stay on APFS or not.

I have the 8600k and aorus ultra gaming and keep getting a ACPI errorView media item 189800

"PXSX Error AE not found"

is normal, i get the same. Maybe someone can put a light on what device is leading to this error. Everything works for me, but message is still there in Verbose mode. Z370 Ultra Gaming

OK, re-installed with HFS+ just for comfort. 2 things:

Graphics seem laggy...For example, when resizing a youtube video to full screen and then back...It's very laggy, not smooth at all. I used this same video card (GTX 770) on my Z87 rig with High Sierra without issues. No Nvidia web drivers.

Anyway to get RAID working? Seems that if you want to enable RAID, it automatically enable RST with Intel Optane System Acceleration. Almost died after getting everything setup the way I had my old system (symlinks for music, photos, documents, downloads, all apps installed, preferences copied over...And kernel panics in every boot mode and device. Only then did I see that RST got enabled when I tried to setup a RAID of 2 Samsung EVO 840s. I'd prefer to RAID these 2 drives if I can.

Anyone got any insight for these 2 issues?

OK I solved my graphics issue. I installed emulated NVRAM (EmuVariableUefi-64.efi) and the Nvidia web drivers. Didn't think I needed it with the GTX 770 since I didn't use it before but it works buttery smooth now! Really loving this build. Going from SATA SSD to m.2 NVME is a real nice improvement. The i7-8700k is running stable @ 5Ghz with water cooled CPU/GPU. Just need to fix the unknown Processor in About This Mac to really seal it up!

Here you go. If you want to use internal GPU only for display use ig-platform-id 0x59120000 instead of connector-less 0x59120003
Hi again, I tried with your EFI folder but i noticed your plist file is empty.. Would it be able to provide again your proper EFI folder with completed plist. Thanks a lot

Decided to upgrade to 32GB RAM and also popped in one of the OSXWifi BCM94360CD cards. Native support but not for me. Not sure what is up. BT is recognized but in system report I see "Handoff Supported: No". I have my Apple Keyboard and trackpad connected via BT and I can even use it when booting to go into BIOS.

Wifi not showing up anywhere. It's plugged into one of the PCI 1x slots.

Incidentally, imessage is now on the fritz. It was working perfectly now not syncing. I don't see messages sent or received from other devices.

By any chance @Macboy123 you wouldn't happen to be using one of these cards?
