Hello Mr. Rehabman! I managed today to install Sierra on my Probook 450 G3 using only ethernet and Pan Bluetooth because my wifi module its still on the road.Although I tried to follow your instructions entirely I have no audio no battery management and glitch on left upper side. Need your opinion, thx!

Please... in the future, do not provide the entire EFI folder (as requested, only EFI/Clover should be attached).

Your config.plist is wrong. Read post #1, "Final config.plist".

can anyone point to the right direction on guide for UPDATES from EL Capitan 10.11.6 to Mount Sierra 10.12.1 thank you guys... been out of the loop... Happy LUNAR new year of the rooster

Procedures for updates are detailed in post #1.

Hi, when I plug VGA and I click on detecting monitor, it doesn't work and I can't display my Mac screen on another monitor. How can I do that ?
Do you have a tutorial to enable card reader ? I also did not succeed in enabling USB 3.0 ports...
Can I update to Mac OS Sierra 10.12.3 ?
Thanks

Hi Fellows!

Some feedback of recent progress: I bought and received the new wifi card (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Bro.../1390948701.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.5NHQ5i) and works flawlessly from first boot with the Broadcom kexts found in this thread. Swapping out was easy, only had to fiddle around a little with one of the radio cables, as we get less space because of a small metal part on the card, that is missing from the original HP one. BT can see my iPhone 6S, but cannot connect to it, other BT devices are okay (tested with Oneplus One). The module cannot be turned off. Connection speed is about 150KB/s.
Pressing the wifi radio button disables wifi and cannot be turned on again, no matter how long I wait. Rebuilding cache solves it again.

The machine dual boots W10 from HDD and El Capitan from SSD. It was tricky at times, but now it is perfect. I use native UEFI without CSM, because it looked like, that resolution is only perfect that way, but I will experiment more.

Weird (?) thing: doesn't matter if I use the FakeSMC sensor kexts or not, I can only see temp readings of the SSD, HDD and battery percentage in HWmonitor app. Is it by design RehabMan or just doesn't work with my setup? (Rebuilding cache didn't change anything)

Cheers

VGA not supported. Use HDMI or DP (with "active" VGA adapter if needed).
The card reader in your laptop (based on your profile) works if you follow the guide.
6-series USB is not well supported, but if you install GenericUSBXHCI.kext it will work somewhat.
This guide supports 10.12.x, although you may run into issues.

The iPhone is not intended to be paired. It uses BT4LE.
FakeSMC sensor kexts are not installed by default. They are in the downloads directory if you wish to install them yourself.

I put them into the EFI/Clover/kexts/Other folder (as I did with all the kexts in your thread) creating the install USB and later the system SSD, but still no difference. I did no problem reporting, as I don't want to waste your time. Do I have do anything else, to make the kexts work with HWmonitor?
Yeah, the module is only BT3.0.
