[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch (10.11)

I just successfully upgraded my HP EliteBook 840 G3 from 10.12.2 to 10.12.3 (AppStore)
No problems so far.

Can report a complete success using the guide to install 10.11 on my 2570p - thank you for an exquisite guide.

Strange quirk: connecting a 1080p external display via DP-HDMI cable and having "mirror displays" ticked in System Preferences/Displays/Arrangement forces the internal display (1366x768) to scale to 1080p also. I'm not complaining! I like it! Can I force the internal screen to run at a (higher) scaled resolution when it's the ONLY display? Is it safe for the panel/iGPU?

I should add that unticking "mirror displays" restores the 1366x768 resolution to the internal while keeping the external on 1080p.

Edit: I have just discovered SwitchResX.

It is normal.
And you can change it to optimize for the internal display instead.

Dear Rehabman

Want to inform you that when I upgrade to macOS 10.12.4 my native AppleHDA not working. instead I already re-run all script that need to make AHDA to work.

Need your little busy time for further suggestion. My laptop type HP Probook 640 G1 (Haswel).

Regards
David
