When it goes to sleep safari tab freezes.
But without the isolate intel hd. Whole pc freezes and restars, with it you can then just close the tab.

I would like to point some things.

The Isolate Intel HD 4400/4600 patch on Sierra will help you navigate using safari as far as the hackintosh doesn't go to sleep. Otherwise tabs that would freeze without it will also freeze but not the whole system so you can close the tab.

Also those like me with a Lenovo G50-70 that has a processor that supports VT-d and it can not be disabled in BIOS add the "Arguments" line on the config.plis in the section "Boot" and add the bootleg "dart=0" using Xcode or Plist Editor Pro.

On Sierra:
New ApplePS2SmartTouchpad driver by EMlyDinEsH using currently 4.7 beta 5 and delivers better performance and fixes gesture issues (like scrolling) from past version 4.6.5 which he added support to Sierra. Haven't had any problems with 4.7 beta 5 and fixes the Trackpad prefpane.

To fix Display prefpane in an easy way:
Download FixEDID and DarwinDumper

Dump with DarwinDumper your EDID only (as you don't need anything else) look at the target folder that an EDID.bin file was created.
Then Launch FixEDID and load your EDID binary file.
After doing so check that it should say Apple iMac Display (16:10) above from Ignore IODisplayPrefs check in this display, and change Apple iMac Display (16:10) to Apple MacBook Air Display (16:9) and click make.
Finally install the DisplayMergeNub kext that was created in your desktop.
Reboot.

This patch is not reliable, therefore I wouldn't want it to be included by default. Users can choose whether to add it.

I haven't really had the display prefpane issue, and I don't really know how it is fixed, and since it's not a general issue that affects all users, I cannot add the fix to the repo.

The displaypref pane will pretty much happen in every G50-70 running 10.12.x.
So could be useful for all who want to use macOS Sierra.

Seems to happen after a sleep cycle.

Found a coincidence it happened just like the safari playback crash, deleted the Isolate graphics accelerator and now the issue is gone.

The patch is not really reliable and should not be applied... It is known to cause problems.

Hi, guys!
Now I'm on "Preparing USB and initial Installation" part of the guide.
How its supposed to download elan kext? Sorry, but I really don't understand. There is no kext there. All instructions for download and install this kext is for post installation part of the guide. I cant install Yosemite on my lenovo g50-70 laptop with i3 hd4400 clover uefi, so now I'm working on my old laptop with Yosemite already installed on it. If I will make build by ./install.sh command on that laptop then all files will go to EFI of that old laptop as I think.
How to make install to the usb EFI?

The kext can be downloaded by downloading a ZIP copy of the repo from github.
