[Guide] LENOVO Z50-70 using Clover UEFI (10.12)

In my repo, I decided to go back to the injector technique because I saw that .zml.zlib way couldn't survive OS X updates, and since the injector method is easier and requires less efforts, I decided to go with it.

FYI: I'm eventually going to change all my repos to just use fully patched AppleHDA.
All other techniques are too unreliable (due to Clover KextsToPatch being not reliable for AppleHDA).

Hello Guys, can you help me i have a laptop same lenovo z50-70, and i wanna ask you if i have a chance to have mac osx i will attached one file ... its information from my laptop

Oh that's strange... In what way do you find Clover KextsToPatch unreliable? I haven't had any problems with it so far...

If AppleHDA falls out of kernel cache, as it does when installing other kexts (no idea why), KextsToPatch then fails next boot as AppleHDA loads outside of cache. In that case, you must boot without caches and rebuild cache. It is not an issue when AppleHDA is fully patched, as even when loading outside of cache, it is still patched. Of course, it doesn't survive updates, but updates are rare compared to the frequency of installing other kexts...

I've never run into any problems with AppleHDA when installing new kexts. I do install/test new kexts frequently and rebuild the kernel cache but haven't noticed any issue with the audio, but would using other patching techniques like AppleALC.kext fix that issue?

Yeah, updates are pretty much rare...

I install kexts quite often... it is part of kext development... For reasons unknown, AppleHDA falls out of cache during some of these updates.

I haven't tried AppleALC.kext. It might patch from user-space, so might be more resilient. But, the way it is written seems kind of "heavy weight" since the data for all supported codecs is in wired kernel memory.

Yeah, updates are pretty much rare...

And we know exactly when they are happening... If the patching functionality was in install_downloads.sh, it is a simple matter of running the script and rebooting. And then you're good to go until the next update. A technique that survives an update is not that important unless normal use is 100% reliable.

How i have to do that Install Clover UEFI to your internal SSD/HDD and make sure you click 'Customize' and select:
- Install for UEFI booting only?

Yes, of course.
