Guide To Install Yosemite on HP Laptops with Clover UEFI

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to install Yosemite (also tried Mavericks), but I can't get my usb to boot. I choose the EFI file, the black screen with white Apple logo appears briefly, but then it crashes and my computer restarts.

I have an HP Probook 430 G2 (Celeron model) with "Intel HD Graphics".
I already tried the 4400 config file (because the other 430 models have that graphics card), but it also doesn't work. Already tried the HD3000 config files.

Can anyone help me please? :)

There is no support for Celeron graphics in any version of OS X.

Yeah, I can pretty much tell you the HD Graphics in the Celeron processors (B840 chip that I know) is not HD Graphics 3000, but a generic HD Graphics which OS X does not support, at all. I learned that part the hard way cause I thought my Celeron B840 had the Intel HD Graphics 3000, but it did not.

Installed Yosemite a few months ago on my sons HP Proobook 6460b and he used it till now with a USB WiFi card.

Today the HP-branded Broadcom 43224HMS was delivered and I placed it immediately.

Booted the machine, but no WiFi card shows up.

What are the steps I should follow to see it in OSX?

I'm a bit of a n00b, so I could use a point in the right direction.

Hello!

I just got a 6570b which i set up on 10.10.5 following the instructions. Everything went silky smooth other than the wireless. I first set up the system with an unsupported wireless card. Bluetooth was working but wireless was not. I purchased a Broadcom 43224HMS and installed it in the computer. Nothing happened, so I wiped the drive and reinstalled OS X following the same instructions. Now, the wifi card is detected, but doesn't seem to turn on. Also, not I have no Bluetooth. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Check your BIOS settings to be sure it is enabled. Test the hardware in Windows.

Press the WiFi power toggle key on your keyboard (be patient for networks to populate). Also test the WiFi hardware in Windows.

As for bluetooth, make sure it is enabled in BIOS and that "fast boot" is disabled (per guide).
