Looking in the wrong place.
No kext loaded, graphics is not working (VESA only)
Really, Z97 is not supported in 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9 (fix for 10.9.5).

I went ahead and attached screenshots so you can see. I'm pretty sure I'm looking in the right spot?

It took me about an hour after I made the post to get the graphics card to work, but the system recognizes my nVidia GTX 550ti card now, dual monitors. It works. Each monitor is connected with either VGA or DVI, no HDMI on my computer.

I should have reworded what I said. Since I've started hackintosh, I've had audio working (You actually helped me out on my old computer and gave me very detailed step by step help a while ago). This computer I'm using I started since 10.10, which it did work. I just don't get why it is giving so many problems in 10.11.

edit: I fixed my issue using this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-desktop-guides/174726-guide-asrock-uefi-boot-fix.html

Clover 10.10.5 on ASUS Deluxe Z97

Hi Toleda,
I tried to follow your instructions to fix the audio-issue on the ALC1150 with the ASUS Deluxe Z97 board, but I have no success with the audio_cloverALC-110.command

maybe you can drag me in the right direction.

All the time I use it tried to use the command my terminal tells me "no audio codec installed", the original kext is in place in the system library.

I tried to figure out how to proceed and your description shows under I.2 the request of the HDEF-info, which I might find in place.

Here I got stucked. Could you please describe what´s the next step.

note: I´ve never worked on SSDTs or DSDT, so it would be great if you can describe (step-by-step) what I need to afterwards.

Thx a lot

danny

No codec is not a dsdt, ssdt, or kext problem. Simply, the codec is disabled/not working. See Post #1, III No Codec

OK...I am running out of fixes to try from what I'm reading here, so I am asking for help. I am new to Mac OS in general and this is my first hackintosh, so I'm a noob here and I'm learning a lot.

So far here is my setup on a dual boot Dell Optiplex 7010:
-I have Windows 10 running on it's own SSD
-I have OS X 10.11.2 running on it's own HDD
-I am using legacy boot mode in the BIOS and have the Clover boot loader on the Mac OS drive.
-Everything seems to be working great except for audio output/device.

I used MultiBeast to install the Realtek ALC 269 driver and I have run the audio_cloverALC-110 script. Under audio devices I have no output devices found, but under input devices I have "Unknown USB audio device" available and it appears to be picking up the mic from my logitech USB camera. (which also works when I open FaceTime)

I have verified DPCI Manager that it shows Realtek ALC269 with codecID 0x10EC0269. There is also an Intel HD 4000 Codec with ID 0x80862806 listed with the same Audio Device and Sub Device ID as the RealtekALC269. There is a third device with a different Device ID and Sub ID but everything else is blank on that line.

I have also verified in IORegistryExplorer that the HDEF layout-id does = 01 00 00 00.

Would anyone be kind enough to help me? If I could get the sound device recognized I'd be fully functioning. Thanks in advance!

See Post #1, Desktop/ALC269 is not supported.

Sorry if I'm not reading correctly, but ALC269 is listed at the top of the post and I took that to mean it was supported. The only place I saw it was not supported was under the updated (piker) command that was added yesterday. I didn't use that one so I thought I was ok. Either way, does that mean that I need to rerun multibeast and select another driver? If so how do I determine which one? If not is there some other work around our am I just stuck without audio? Sorry for being a noob. I'm an android guy, lol!
