[Guide] Lenovo Y50 (UHD or 1080p) using Clover UEFI (10.11)

Follow the guide exactly as written in post #1.

Then I stumbled on your guide and did everything as instructed.

Read post #1, "Problem Reporting".

Hey Rehabman! Wow it's nice to see you after so long. I haven't used my hackintosh for about three months. I updated the patch repositories using the code provided in the guide and did this with a USB boot. When I booted without the USB, my whole computer got really laggy. Here is the archive that contains the problem reporting files.

(BTW it doesn't lag at all when I do a regular USB boot. The archive for problem solving was done through my USB boot).

This EFI/Clover is not according to the guide. It appears to be EFI/Clover from USB.

The config.plist is wrong. Appears to be from an old version of the project. Current versions is changed significantly.

Note: You should not have GenericUSBXHCI.kext in EFI/Clover/kexts/Other. It is very clear in the guide.

And... why do you have HPFanReset.efi? Your laptop is from Lenovo, not HP. As the author of HPFanReset.efi, I can tell you it is not advisable on computers that aren't in the HP ProBook family.

You will need to customize config.plist for your own SMBIOS data, of course.

Note: Unless you plan to use a USB keyboard/mouse when you boot the installer or recovery, you should add VoodooPS2Controller.kext to kexts/Other. And your laptop does not have Intel Ethernet. It is Realtek using RealtekRTL8111.kext just as mentioned in post #1.

I just rebooted and it's still laggy. Any suggestions on why? I'm going to update the repositories through USB again.

Not booting osx...its just osx not windows...i used the createinstallmedia method but i was able to boot osx from the target partition even without booting the installer again....now after all the steps when i try to boot, i am stuck on apple logo...when i boot from pen drive, i can reaxh the desktop and everything works fine....tried verbose but nothing is shown...check image...also when i boot from the usb, in one of the usb3 ports, when i plug in my usb3 hard drive, it says usb device needs more power....i dont know what changes you made but the previous versions were quite stable....any solutiom as to why it is showing this kind of verbose boot screen ?
The second image is of installer log. This is totally different from what i got before. It seems like it is actually installing to the target partition so the next time i boot i select target partition and it actually boots up...i am the setup screen of accounts and time zone etc....am i doing something wrong ?
