[Guide] Booting the OS X installer on LAPTOPS with Clover

I have prepared my USB while following this guide and it's all ready. However, I'm having doubts about the 'Choosing a config.plist' section of the guide.

I chose config_HD4600_4400_4200.plist for my laptop (see signature) and I didn't change anything beside renaming it to config.plist. Do I need to change anything via Xcode in this file to make it work on my laptop? I'm talking about that ig-platform-ids part mentioned in the first post.

Answer would be highly appreciated.

The default works for most systems.

Hello!
i have a question. Do you know how to change the theme in Clover Bootloader?

Install theme to EFI/Clover/themes. Set them at config.plist/GUI/Theme.

I'm stuck in step 3 of post 2 because I can select the disks from the disk utility menu and I can select from the top menu bar (first aid/erase/partition/raid/restore), but I can't interact with anything in the darker box beneath the listed menu bar. In other words, I can't format the drive or partition it. I am wondering if switching the SDD to the one in my current mac would make any difference (using my 500GB SSD instead of the 256GB SSD thats in the hackintosh-in-progress laptop)? Or is there another solution to this issue?

Show photo. If the disk is originally partitioned from Windows, you may need to clean it first.
