Don't works freeze in SMC: successfully initialized

Only work with
-v

nv_disable=1
GraphicsEnabler=No

But in safe mode and no video are install

Any one have a solution
Best regards

You aren't using nvda_drv=1 anywhere. Try:

-v
nvda_drv=1
kext-dev-mode=1
GraphicsEnabler=No

If that works you can remove the -v

I have try but stop in:
SMC: successfully initialized

Hi, my findings after purchasing this card to go with my system:

GALAX 750ti 2GB DDR5 HDMI / VGA / DVI
Gigabyte EP35 DS3L
C2D E8400
Clover Bootloader
10.10.5 Latest NVIDIA web drivers

The HDMI port is not fully functioning as people have reported in this thread. VGA - no issues, DVI - no issues.

I flashed the PALIT bios to the card as suggested in this thread.

As ususal, the PC POST information appeared, my themed Clover Bootloader worked, the Apple logo and the progress bar appeard - the OS seems to have loaded, but the screen goes black with "NO SIGNAL" is presented by my HDTV.

Mysteriously - after turning off the webdriver through clover, OS X boots to desktop. The HDMI port seems to work; but with no QE/CI, the UI is slow and laggy.

So the 750ti's HDMI port does work but not with the webdriver enabled.

Anyone have any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks if you can!

** Update **

I Installed Mac CUDA driver and turned of a tick box in Clover Configurator to turn off Nvidia Injection in my Clover config.plist.

HDMI video out to HDTV now works!!! Card is fully functional!

Hey all!

This has been very helpful so far, but I'm not having any luck after flashing GM107.rom to the Asus Geforce 750 ti.

What happens is that it boots up to the login screen successfully, but then the screen turns gray/black and if I plug in and unplug the DVI it just looks like white noise.

I'm running the latest CUDA and Nvidia drivers, and I'm on 10.10.5... but still no luck.

Anyone have ideas for getting around this screen? I feel like I'm so close. Or some way to print out information about why the screen suddenly goes blank?

With flag `nv_disable=1` I can get it to work just fine but obviously the graphics are terrible and laggy.

Thanks!

I know how you feel! I have the ASUS GTX750TI-PH-2GD5 card. I have tried flashing the BIOS to many different BIOSes. Some work better than others but none of them actually worked in a stable manner in Windows. I tried UltraLaser's GM107 file, it will boot into Windows but it will crash after a few minutes. Same with Yosemite.

I figured this was because UltraLaser's card is clocked higher than mine and this was causing it to crash. I then tried to modify UltraLaser's bios with Kepler BIOS Tweaker to turn down the clock, but this didn't help.

I tried the Gigabyte BIOS, DO NOT DO THIS! The card that this BIOS is for has the 6-pin power cable, which of course the ASUS one does not. The BIOS prevents the PC from booting and displays a message that says to plug in the PCIe power cable, which isn't possible, rendering the card effectively bricked. The only way I got around this was to lift the CS pin of the flash IC on the back of the card to let the PC boot (using internal gfx chip) and then connect it back after booting windows to run nvflash. Hair-raising!

Now I can't really think of anything else to try to be honest. I might just have to sell this card and buy a different brand. Quite a lame conclusion but what else can I do?

Update: I've since learned that my Mac Pro has PCIe 1.1, whereas my PC has PCIe 2.0. This fact, along with the fact that my card behaves differently in 1/4x and 8/16x slots leads me to believe that my Mac Pro is having trouble powering the 750ti from the PCIe port. I am probably going to try a Gigabyte card with the external power connector next, but if anyone would like to try my modified ASUS 750Ti bios (the OC bios, manually edited for the PH-version's clock), PM me. I've tried to upload it, but I get a message saying it's an 'invalid file'.

Hello

I own this card https://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX750TIPH2GD5/specifications/
And as described I was unable to boot using dvi or hdmi monitors. Only VGA. And without webdrivers.

The only way to make that card work is to flash another firmware

I used this one (attached) from this card http://www.asus.com/it/Graphics_Cards/STRIXGTX750TIOC2GD5/specifications/

I guess the Palit one could work as well

Loading the same VBIOS through Chameleon does not work

This is the only solution for this peculiar card (GTX750TI-PH-2GD5).

Instruction:
1) Download nvflash version 5.206.0.1 for Windows (google it)
2) unzip and open "cmd" then change directory to the unzipped dir
3) execute "nvflash --protectoff"
4) save your current bios (to be sure) "nvflash --save original.rom"
5) if you use only one card execute "nvflash -6 GM107.rom" <<-- this is the file I attached here, unrar it first (otherwise add the option --index=NUM where NUM is the number of your card, use --list to know the number of your card)

The software will beep as soon as it finishes and it will ask some confirmation prompts

MAKE THIS FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

I took the risk and I succeeded.

This worked for my Gainward GTX 750 ti (DVI - VGA) .
I got my dual monitor installation working.

Hey guys, I just wanted to stop by and say that this worked for me and my Asus GTX 750 Ti OC using iMac 14,2 sysdef. Huge Thank you for figuring this out!
