Since we are at it, can you guys also extract the SSDT and perhaps propose edits to enable GPU and HDMI/DP audio?

I have the 5i5RYH model, a little different from yours, but the same GPU. The correct id should start with 1626, not 1616 which are for HD5500. I have mine working almost perfectly with ig-platform-id set to 16260006 which is the one used on the latest Macbook that uses the same broadwell chip.

It's odd that your GPU works with 16160000/16160002. Because I tried those ids a while ago, and the screen draw was slow as heck, and in turn slowed down my whole system. I used the latest clover and set the id to 1626xxxx, et voila! It works great now! Stable too. Been up for about two weeks now.

Not perfect though. Once in a while I see few pixel artifacts...

Do you have GPU crashing problem like me and XavUK ?

I'm trying to get HDMI/DP audio myself. Long ago, I read through toleda's complex guide on how to do that, and got it to work with the original 1st gen NUC. But the recent NUC seems like a bigger challenge.

I'm attaching my working EFI folder, zipped. In it, there's a working config.plist for my specific model (NUC5i5RHY), along with all the DSDT and SSDT files (raw, unpatched).

Hope that it will help some people having problems with getting their new NUC up and running, especially with regards to the HD6000 IGPU. And hopefully more advanced people can help clean up the DSDT, SSDT and patching them.

NOTE: I should mention that the main credit for the attached EFI folder goes to menhim who originally posted it few post back. All I had to do was to change the ig-platform-id appropriate for mine and IT JUST WORKED. Thanks.

No crashing whatsoever. My NUC has been up for well over a week or more. I've watched plenty of Netflix, Youtube, Amazon Prime Video, VLC for 1080p videos, etc. No crash.

The artifacts I mentioned are extremely trivial. I noticed that whenever I click on a menu option (example, File) and the fly menu appears, I see that between the top menu line and the menu pane, I see a little flicker in the gap.

I don't know if that's because of some glitch from the HD6000 or due to a minor bug in Yosemite. Thought it may materialize into something bad (like a crash) but it hasn't affected anything so far.

I tried with 0x16260000/0x16260006, the problem still remains. It works for a while and then start crashing, same problem with Gonor. Of course it's not only some flickr, but heavily flickr, and the desktop is unusable at that time.

When I use 0x16260006, the problem seems to be gone, but I need some days to make sure.

Someone trying 10.10.4 beta 2 or Capitan 10.11 with new NUC i7?
