Thanks for the file! Did your machine have problem waking from sleep? My 5i3ryh lost its keyboard and mouse or anything USB after waking up from sleep.

I got 4K working with 5i3ryh (DELL p2715q), it's amazing.

needed a couple changes based on menhim's EFI files.

1. change ig-platform-id to x16160002, x16160000 was stuck at 2560x1440
2. change duallink to 0. I'm not very sure about this one but x16160002 combined with duallink 0 gave me stable 4K. otherwise, the screen would freeze
3. I extracted EDID and put the file in /S/L/Displays/Overrides, you can use either IORegistryExplorer or linux live CD with "xrandr --verbose" to get the full 256 bytes EDID. If you use windows to extract, it may be just the first 128 bytes.

using latest clover boot files would correctly recognize the igp as HD5500 instead of HD6000, I'm not sure if this helped too.

I still need to run this for longer time to see if it's all stable.

one thing I'm checking with Intel support is I can't see POST or boot screen with displayport. But it feels more like a dell monitor problem. the p2715q/p2415q has quite a few annoying systematic defects.

I just attempted to install Yosemite on Intel NUC5i5RYK (i5 HD6000), QE/CI works with ig-platform-id=x16160000/x16160002 and nothing else.

However, after short time of usage, GPU crashed and tried to restart but fail, which leads to extreme flickering, and have to restart. I tried updating BIOS, changing ig-platform-id, patching dsdt, update to newer OS X but fail.

I heard that similar problems have been reported on Windows as well. Please keep us posted on that.

Sorry, my friend sold it and buy a haswell one instead.

Getting same issue on my 5i5RYH with win8.1 (waiting for working hack) so it's certainly a hardware problem. Thanks for posting this. mine is solved by un-plugging the screen and plugging back in.

I have the 5i5RYH model, a little different from yours, but the same GPU. The correct id should start with 1626, not 1616 which are for HD5500. I have mine working almost perfectly with ig-platform-id set to 16260006 which is the one used on the latest Macbook that uses the same broadwell chip.

It's odd that your GPU works with 16160000/16160002. Because I tried those ids a while ago, and the screen draw was slow as heck, and in turn slowed down my whole system. I used the latest clover and set the id to 1626xxxx, et voila! It works great now! Stable too. Been up for about two weeks now.

Not perfect though. Once in a while I see few pixel artifacts...

Sounds great! I see the NUC i7 uses Iris 6100, which platform ID will that use? I am about to order mine in the next few days.
