Guide To Install Yosemite on HP Laptops with Clover UEFI

Any idea how too get BCM94322HM8L working in Yosemite ?

It seems like my HP 2570p wont turn it on

No. Read post #1. Re-patch can be done with PBI-CE.

Although it wouldn't be a bad idea to do it by hand if you wish to learn more.
I did easy way with re-patching with PBI-CE. I pressed F4 at Clover (and checked that files were created on EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin folder), and then ran PBI-CE. There is minor change, instead of seeing the desktop for split second after sleep, screen stays black after waking up from the sleep mode. Backlight controls still work and I can increase and decrease backlight after sleep so screen itself is lit and awake.

I also managed to find Atheros WiFI-module and I have some kind of wireless connectivity now while waiting BCM wifi/bt-card to arrive :) Only if the sleep would work I'd be happy.

I tested my GPU with Luxmark, and result was pretty nice .... but something isn't 100% right. And I'm still wondering if the GPU doesn't wake up correctly from the sleep and that's what's causing my black screen.

Here are the files after re-patching:

I think I'll dig into that manual patching way... just out of curiosity.

According to your ioreg, you're still injecting kexts. It should not be happening. Make sure you installed the latest kexts with the latest PBI-CE. You should have FakeSMC.kext in /S/L/E.

You already have the WiFi card you need.

It is not possible for the OS X installer to install to an MBR drive. It requires GPT. Did you install OS X to a second drive?

This is covered in post #1 in the dual-boot/Windows section. You need to rename bootmgfw.efi.

Thanks for your help! Just renaming bootmgfw.efi into bootmgfw-orig.efi was enough, as you said.
Dual booting win7 64 bit and Yosemite 10.10.3 (from the clover boot menu booted from hard disk) works fine and wifi also works now - thanks! Already installed some upgrades and apps.

( The installer as created with this guide did actually install os x even when the drive was still mbr and only a mac extended journaled patition existed for it to install to. But post-install with the probook installer failed of course... so I then converted the drive to gpt using a freeware tool and shifted partitions slightly and created a uefi and msr partition to migrate win7 to uefi, which worked fine after repairing it with a usb win7 repair disk).

Next thing I'll try is whether I can get a USB 3.0 PCI Express/54 card with nec chip to work in OS X...

In fact, he is using your config.plist, because I replaced all HD3000 config by yours.

When did you copy it? Because I've been making changes lately...
