Just to be certain, did you do the AppleHDA rollback first? Also, the ALC887 kext from multibeast 3.10.1 does not work. You need to use the one I have attached a few posts earlier. You want to unzip that package and dump the .kext file into /Extra/Extensions, rebuild caches/repair permissions in...
I'm glad it all worked. I had a similar blue screen when changing resolutions with my GTS 250. I'm not sure VoodooHDA is a good working solution. People have reported random kernel panics with it. Your board has the ALC887 chipset. For that, do the AppleHDA rollback on multibeast, and then...
Realtek ALC888 audio and intel LAN should work fine probably. You can extract a raw DSDT and patch it with your motherboard-specific patch available on the olarila forums. I don't see why this wouldn't work. Good luck!
It'll be much easier to try to debug if you state clearly the steps you have taken so far to get it to work (e.g. what guide you are following, any early discrepancies observed, etc.).
Intel HD 2000, 3000, or 4000 are integrated graphics controllers in the processor. Your processor only has intel HD 2000. As such, you will never have HD 3000 or 4000 with your current setup, unless you upgrade the processor.
However, using a discrete graphics card such as the one you linked...
I had an MSI GT 210 that worked out of the box in ML, but from what I read, the GT 520 is much better. The 210 was around 30 bucks new, before rebates.
Snow Leopard just screams on my machine. Can't find a good enough reason to upgrade yet. ML looks like it has some potential although some bugs need to undoubtedly be worked out. Graphics seem to be little too choppy on my MBP. Waiting to upgrade all my machines together.
Interesting. I wonder what's causing the google software update error message if you just did a clean install of snow leopard. I'm wondering if you just did an archive and install of snow leopard as opposed to a full erase and install. Is your hard drive partitioned as GPT and formatted...
Yea it looks like you installed quite a few multibeast options. With multibeast, less is more. Keep the options that you select in multibeast to an absolute minimum. Once you've gotten a working set up, you can install other things. Do a clean install of 10.6, and follow the guide that I posted...
Then why don't you just try installing EasyBeast to a freshly formatted USB (GPT, Mac OS X Journaled), and install your necessary kexts to the /Extra/Extension folder in the USB, and boot with that? I still use a USB to boot my SL macs, granted it has UserDSDT installed to it with my...
Try this method to create the iBoot USB, and then make changes to the necessary files.

Can you take a picture of the verbose mode output?
Also, can you walk us through exactly what you did. It's very difficult to debug without knowing what steps were already taken (including multibeast options, boot.plist options). From the top, just briefly please...

The olarila forums has a motherboard-specific patch for the MSI H55M-E33. Good luck!
Oh oops. Since that DSDT is edited for sandy bridge, it will only work after you have already updated to 10.6.8.
The steps for that are:
Boot into your 10.6 partition with iboot
Run Updatehelper
Restart with iboot, and boot into 10.6 partition
Run 10.6.8 Combo Update. Don't do...
