Hi all,

My system has been working fine for a couple of months, but suddenly has developed a huge problem!

It will boot OK past the BIOS, but just hangs at the grey screen/TonyMac 'Apple' with a spinning progress wheel.

I've tried booting with -v -x flags, but no luck - It just cycles constantly to this screen, and the verbose boot listing disappears before I can see what is wrong.

Is there anything I can do to try to get past this - I have a lot of work to do today, and I'm panicking!!!

Thanks,

James

What do you mean it goes past this?
After listing all verbose output it changes to the boot screen and keeps on loading?
I am definetly no expert but it seems like a corrupted drive. If you have your install stick/disk handy just go ahead and repair your boot drive.
Can't make it worse
