With the 5.3.1 the problem is gone.

I have a potential solution for this issue.
For me, BIOS and Chameleon settings that were generating C-States caused the issue system wide.

I reapplied with MB 5.3.1 Realtek 898 Audio (no dsdt option) and BOOM! Audio crackling has ceased to happen.

Thanks for your tip. My 12 months of pain has now been removed
