Z590 AORUS Master i7-11700K RX580 Help Needed - Limited USB Function

@Troy.Blackburn,

Great job!

As for the High Sierra I believe your solution for the working USB 3.0 ports may be a lot simpler. Have you had a look at this link? All you just need is USBInjectAll and apply this patch. I believe it should work. > https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-high-sierra-10-13-4-usb-3-0-problems.250272/
I tried it out this morning; however, still no working USB 3.x ports at least not in the context of being able to connect any USB 3.x devices. Connecting USB 2.0 devices to any/all of the USB 3.x ports works fine. First time I've ever wished I had more USB 2.0 devices.

I don't really "need" to be able to connect to USB 3.x devices on this system, so I'm going to leave working on that more for another day, or I may not. This whole project is an interim step to allow me to migrate from a Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Master w/i9 9900K to a Gigabyte Z590 AORUS Master w/i7 11700K that I've had laying around so that I can do something else with the 9900K hardware. Next step will be to migrate the apps that are the source of tying me to High Sierra, so that I can upgrade to macOS Ventura or Sonoma when it comes out.

Thanks Again,
Troy

Okay. Well as it goes you still have three other options:

1) Try this kext for your motherboard (I believe USB 3.0 is fully enabled with this one) > https://github.com/cmer/gigabyte-z390-aorus-master-hackintosh/tree/master

2) Try this kext and see if it works (in case above doesn't work) > https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Generic-USB3

3) Create your own SSDT with SSDTTime > https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/custom-ssdts-using-corpnewts-ssdttime.318976/
