MSI GS70-2ODi581FD
CPU
i5-4200H
Graphics
Intel HD 4600 + GTX 765M
Mobile Phone
  1. iOS
Information:
Bootloader: Clover
OS X Yosemite
Intel HD 4600 Mobile, fixed config.plist
NO DSDT patch (I don't know much about this)

Hello,

I have a working Mavericks installation on the GS70 thanks to this guide:
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/to...ll-macosx-109-mavericks-on-a-msi-gs70-laptop/
I set up my USB drive by running UniBeast and I saved FakeSMC.kext (chmod 755 *, chown root *) to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.10 and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext Mieze patch, NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and Elan Touchpad(chmod 755*, chown root *)
Then I patched the kernel and saved it to
/mach_kernel
/kernel
/System/Library/Kernels/kernel
/System/Library/Kernels/mach_kernel
just to make sure Clover finds the kernel
But when I boot now, (-darkwake=10, -v) Clover reboots after "root device uuid is..." and a few +
Am I missing some boot flags or did I place the kexts wrong?

Thanks in advance
Keks

Your config.plist is lacking KernelPm=true.

See guide here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...oting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover-uefi.html

Okay, so I recreated my config.plist and I also added ig-platform-id for HD4600 and I installed FakePCIID (Normal and HD4600 in Clover/kexts/10.10) and kernelpm=true in kernelandkextpatches
I didn't solve the Early Reboot of the installer but I solved another problem:
My mouse was lagging in Mavericks and now it's smoother than in Windows :)

Thank you,
Keks

The guide has known good config.plist files for common laptop configurations: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...oting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover-uefi.html

Hey!

Is this your final working config.plist?

I have a MSI GS70 Stealth Pro

Intel i7-4720HQ
Intel HD 4600
GTX 970M (won`t work)
Killer E2200 Ethernet (there is a kext)
ACL892 Audio (i found a kext)
