What version of ssdtPRGen did you use, i get unknown option with -c, i have to use target instead, i also have to set the lowest frequency to 1200 and then after all that i still get a kernel panic with P-Limit Not Supported On This Platform .... grrrr!

Still get blank screen on boot too without the SSDT grrrr!!

Speed Step and Turbo is all i need to get fixed here to use 6.1 SMBios, but it still looks like a no go here

Martin

I got 15.6 you may have a newer version.

~/ssdtPRGen.sh -c 2 -f 2700 -l 32 -p E5-2680 -turbo 3500 -t 130

Would be for your setup.

I tried these on my setup it will probably be usable for you.
The SSDT is just power-management so nothing else.

https://we.tl/ANIhNG4dHg

Make sure to do the other steps aswell ok.

Definitely a different version 18.2 here ... Here's the line I have to add, the w3 was a last ditched effort to try and get it to play

Code:
~/ssdtPRGen.sh -b Mac-F60DEB81FF30ACF6 -m MacPro6,1 -target 1 -p E5-2680 -f 2700 -lfm 1200 -l 32 -turbo 3500 -t 130 -w 3

Being the dumb asp i can be at times, i am just thinking that maybe the reason that i am getting the KP is that i am trying to set it up on the USB pen drive. Can you get Turbo and Speed Step functioning from off the USB ?

I am going to put the SSDT provided by you on the pen drive and see if it works or fails too. Will let you know. Many thanks for posting it :)

Martin

** Edit **

Failed in the same fashion as all my other attempts ... Tried and tested on HDD as well as USB :/

Does anyone have other ideas for the "only slot 5" Problem?
I get problems in cooling my graphics card (GTX 980 ti) because the card is to near next to the bottom of the case to get enough air for cooling. The info.plist "ports=0" did not work.

Now i installed the modded 5802 Bios to get turbo mode. Can someone help me to get this? (CPUs are E5-2696 V2)

Thanks in advance.

What's the wattage of the CPU? i can find all details but that, i am guessing it will be 115w, 130w or 135. It should tell you in your BIOS if you don't already know it.

You can generate your own SSDT using the script here ...

I keep getting unknown CPU on my latest beta version will download the old version and see if that wants to generate one.

Martin

**Edit** Added you an SSDT - can't guarantee it will work, process set to 2690 but config is that of your chips. Warning was given for going over 32 threads so use it as your own risk etc etc

Thanks.
I just copied the SSDT.aml to Efi-partition clover/ACPI/patched.
Is this enough?
How can i see/test the SSDT.aml is used and working?

Edit: I did test status with "cat /tmp/AppleIntelInfo.dat"
Seems to be ok, but something with the pstates is not ok. Max value is 25 (so multiplier to 2500Mhz). Should be 35!
I checked "Drop OEM".

This is stat output:
CPU Ratio Info:
------------------------------------
CPU Low Frequency Mode.............: 1200 MHz

You see C States are ok, but P States not. 25 is too less.

Try this one ....
Created using your above specs.

A few posts back, instructions for adding VoodooTSCSync and tailoring it suit your processors was added by LeonardVV if you can't follow/find it, give me a shout :)

Are you stressing the cpu's when running the tests to make sure you are getting the Turbo mode ?
