Hello, I am planning to build a gaming PC.
I will be running OS X Yosemite on it for running Logic Pro X, Final Cut Pro X and a few more Mac Applications.
I am going to buy :
MOBO : MSI Z97 Gaming 5 (jst coz I like the way it looks.)
CPU : Intel I5 4690k
Ram : Kingston HyperX Fury 8 GB Red
GPU : MSI GTX 970
Case : NZXT S340 Black (already delivered)
PSU : Corsair CS 650
SSD : Samsung 850 EVO 120 GB
HDD : WD Blue 1 TB
Please tell me if there will be any issues dual booting windows 8.1/10 and OS X Yosemite on this rig.
And I want to stick with the MSI MOBO and GPU.
No plans for overclocking in the near future but I will definitely give it a try some day.
thank you in advance.

I'm also trying to build my first Hackintosh, so I can't give you any meaningful advice on your build.

But from my years of using my Mac Mini for photo editing, I agree with the above poster that you probably want more than 8 GB of RAM if you plan to do lots of music and video editing. Even for Photoshop work, 8GB vs 16GB RAM makes a difference. I would get 2x 8GB sticks = 16GB to start, and leave open the possibility to add two more 8GB sticks for max 32GB of RAM.

thanks for the answer and yup i will go with 16 gigs of ram.... btw what do you think about the rest of the build is it going to be running yosemite on it properly without messing a lot????
