Will the XFX HD6870 work with Chimera?

Could you also post up your bdmesg output ? I'd like to see what the ATI.c is doing for your card.

Can you try it for Chimera? And if Andy's is working differently - his also ?

I'm not sure what bdmesg is, how can i run or find that?

I did followed Tonymac's guide to the t to do my install and it only worked when iBoot and Multibeast moved to chimera.

If you installed using MultiBeast at any point on the HD then there should be the command bdmesg stored in usr/sbin folder to it should run from Terminal.

Launch terminal then type:

bdmesg

Im now using an XFX 5770 on my i7 (pre-sandy).
Im wondering to upgrade to XFX 6870 Black Dual-Fan, but I read something about that the new 6XXX kexts brake the DP support.
I kinda need DP because I got 3monitors.

Anyone know if this wil work?
