Well i have a 2TB western digital HDD and found out after install that it wont work because of the size of the HDD but now i found out that you can use somthing smaller like a 80gb sata 2, if your wondering what my motherboard supports yes it is sata 2, im new to hackintosh and this is part of my first build.

You can use your 2Tb drive as a boot drive if you partition it. The boot partition where OS X resides must be less than 1Tb in size.

I would suggest 3 partitions:
Partition1 - OS X- 100Gb (OS X takes up less than 8 Gb of this space)
Partition 2 - files -1.8 Tb
partition 3 - Time machine backup and disc images - rest of drive.
