Very strange bug on Hackintosh Mavericks

Hello guys!

Yesterday I moved from my old flat and today when powering on my Hackintosh a very strange bug happened. All computer parts were moved in their original boxes and I was careful with them.

First strange thing, the screen didn't displayed anything until the desktop launch. The yellow led was on like when there's no signal, like when the computer is powered off.

But I really got worried when it finally decided to show something :



I get a loop of :

1 : noise with highly saturated colors.
then 2 : black screen with noisey rectangles.
and 3 : An almost clean desktop with a lot of flickering.

In general the cursor is always displaying crisp and following the mouse movements.

I can (kind of) browse my finder, everything seems okay.

I also tried Disk Utility but I didn't managed to run it, there was to much display bugs and I gave up.

But I have internet access.

With this mess, I can still make some actions, so I tried updating Mavericks to 10.9.4 but nothing changed after the update (except the loss of sound but this seems legit).

I updated my CUDA drivers.

I changed my HDMI cable with no luck.
I tried to share the screen with my MacBook but I had the same display bugs.
I also opened up the workstation, graphic card fans were spinning and all the cables seemed in their place.

I never saw anything like that before, I'm really worried, I have no idea what is the problem.

So any piece of advice, hints or ideas are welcomed.

Each time I restart the computer, the screen don't display anything, so I have no idea of how entering safe mode or anything like that.

Looks like a faulty GPU. You might want to temporarily install Windows to check if your card is also failing with a 100% supported OS.

...or you've bent a pin on the video connection.

...EDIT..never mind, I see you tried HDMI as well.

Ooh I found the problem. Really stupid of me. The cable was plugged in the motherboard, not the graphic card.

I guess I was tired. Sorry and thank you guys!
