My Monterey usb backup does not show on the OpenCore boot screen.
On macOS it is appearing.
What could be the problem?
How can I boot from the backup?

assume it has an EFI etc?

also look into scanpolicy settings in your config.plist

It has an EFI.
I have enabled everything in scan poilicy, but the USB backup still does not appear.
What else can I try?

I have set it to 0x1FF7F03 with OpenCore Configurator and OCAuxiliaryTools.

With 0 also the USB backup does not appear.
The backup USB is formatted with APFS. I will try HFS+.

Hi there.

How does that work? Have you made a new backup to an HFS+ formatted USB stick?

There are only two or three things that can cause the USB stick to be "invisible" to OpenCore:

1) ScanPolicy - as @Feartech explained earlier.

2) Incorrect partition scheme. Remember that with a small - 8GB and less - USB stick, even if you partition correctly as GUID, there will be no EFI partition created. However it should still be visible but not as a boot device.

3) An inactive USB Port caused either by SSDT or BIOS or controller type. (it does seem that all your USB ports are controlled by the Z390 so should be okay - if you avoid the USB2 "Hub" ports).

How have you created your USB backup?

Carbon Copy Cloner backups are no longer bootable, when using or backing up Monterey. This is a known issue that CCC have provided a link for users to better understand the issue.
