RATS! Well, I don't feel so bad then. Must be an ACD model # problem, like my 23" ACD with a single DVI connection. I know I have only one resolution with this monitor - 1920x1200.

For the USB 3.0 topic I have a problem I hope t find help,

I did my build after this excellent guide Stork did write, so maybe literally
the stork did bring me my actual hckntsh Baby ;)

my first attempt failed after updating 10.81 -> 10.82, so I did a direct 10.8.2
install. There I had to unckeck VTd in the Bios to bring up the Unibeast Installer.
(10.8.1 worked without that???) - ( THANKS Bimmer325csi !)

BUT at my second attempt when I attached a small external Samsung USB HD
(3,5" without extra power) the disc did eject immediatly after being plugged, I
could only see the OSX warning ("please dont unplug without ejecting")

So I thought wait until Multibeast, should work then. After Unibeast OSX did
give me a window "Keyboard not specified" and ask me to press the key next
right to the shift key (its an aluminium Mac keyboard ???) Further I had troubles
to set the network (IP and DNS) manually, as soon as I closed the Lock, DNS
disappeared.

I did repair permissions, restart, then everything fine, network fine, it shows
up proper with other macs, fileshare runs smooth and fast (40GB in 8 min) and
I plugged an Belkin Bluetooth dongle (Only the Belkin is here in Germany available)
in the black USB2 in the back, and tried the Magic Mous, everything fine.

Now while installing I plugged the sharkoon USB HD dock into the front USB
of my Corsair Carbide 550D and after 15mins copying files it did out of Idle
again eject the disc and remount with the OSX warning ("please dont unplug
without ejecting")

So, this is creepy, makes me quite uneasy with the machine.

Hope there is a clue to my problem !

Merci for Your answer Gerard !

I know USB Connector #1 is not working, and I have the Keyboard via Dell Monitor Hub on the USB 2 (the black USBs on the Back)

I can see You have turned ECI Hand-off "Disabled". In TonyMacs "Quick guide to configuring the UEFI on Gigabyte's 7-series LGA-1155 motherboards" ECI Hand-off is Enabled, so I did enable it as well.

Do You think this can be the problem ?

I did let EIST on, because in TonyMacs "Quick guide to configuring the UEFI on Gigabyte's 7-series LGA-1155 motherboards" it is said that newer firmware this is no problem anymore.

I thought the system Id (MacPro or iMac) is just cosmetic. Does that really make troubles ? I do not use Airplay...

Thank You very much for Your help !!

Hello Stork !

I didn't insert any optical yet, I have the Samsung 830 SSD on the Marvell
and 3 Seagates, 2x the 6Gbt SataIII and 1X the 3Gbt SataII.

Strange : Boot#1 Option is the ST31500341AS Seagate from SATA Port 2,
when I change to the UEFI Samsung 830 SSD and f1 save and exit, it will
after that again be the ST31500341AS.

Other changes the Bios remembers.

Due to there is only one system (the SSD) it just skips the other HDs, so I didnt
bother...

(Its f11. I had already the feeling, the board (GAZ77XUP5TH) has a problem,
it wa sAmazon, and not sealed, obviously somebody opened the pack before,
the BIOS switch was also not the 1st but on the 2nd Bios)

What do You use for Bluetooth ? I cannot get the IOGear Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter
here in Germany, so I took the Belkin Class II PM00968nf 2.0 . It seems to be
a problem as soon as I stick it into the USB.
