That CPU will not work on that motherboard, it's the wrong socket.

You would need an i7-4770K and then it's not currently support in OS X. Support should be coming in a future release(s).

oooopssss missed that one!
I know that support will come at some point in (near?) time, but I'm planning to update my current Hack, although pretty powerful, as I have a friend coming from USA to my country and he can bring the components.

I am interested in the Force mother board because of its two 16x pci slots. I wanna run to graphics cards on my next build. I have had this customac for 4 years now and am ready to upgrade! You guys do great work, though I understand not a word of it. For now I will try to read the geek speak and be patient until everything works and can be relayed in a manner in which I can understand.

Just putting this out there I've had success with the following

GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC
GTX 670
4770k i7
Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900)

everything is 100% working native power management and all so if you're going with this setup or something like it you won't have any problems in the future

the only thing I had problems with was sound while I did get it working with voodoo I didn't play around with it much after that because I already have a native sound device that I use though I'm pretty sure it will be working by the time all this stuff is released!

There's a lot of people successfully running Haswell, it's questionable on what we're allowed to post here.

At the moment you cannot get it to work, because there is no support for it.
