Hi all,
I'm super-noob, first hackintosh ever, first PC build ever, so apologies in advance. I've been trawling through the forums on here trying to find a solution to my problems, but the solutions I find don't seem to be quite the same.
Here is my rig:
Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H
Intel i5 3570k
GeForce GTX 670
Kingston 8GB Ram
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Corsair 500r (white)
Running two ASUS VS-239's off DVI ports.
Some might notice it is based off of this guide, only difference is the RAM... http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com.au/search/label/CustoMac (mac pro build)
Using the Multibeast setting outlined in this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/61-unibeast-install-os-x-mountain-lion-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html I received the following error message...
boot0: GPT
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: GPT
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: error
I've tried different installations on Multibeast 5.0.2 but I get a black screen after the boot screen (Apple Logo w loading circle) and no error messages. I've seen a few threads regarding the same Mobo and similar build, but with i7, none of their settings seemed to work. Also, the UI from Multibeast screenshots seems to differ a lot, hence why some of the similar build configurations haven't worked for me, as the settings they used have been different or non-existant for me.
Next attempt (still working at it now) will be these settings; http://www.tonymacx86.com/attachmen...-multibeast-5-screenshots-mb-5.0.2-pass-1.jpg => posted by jflomax
I've read a few things regarding using F8 BIOS for my Mobo, I can't find much info on it, so if that has anything to do with my issues, please let me know. However, if anyone is running the same system, Multibeast setting specifics would be 100% appreciated!
Thanks for any help given
