SOLVED - UniBeast installer blanks during installation - video attached

I start the installation with these arguments as they have gotten me the farthest.
Code:
[COLOR=#000000]PCIRootUID[/COLOR]=0 npci=0x2000 -v GraphicsEnabler=No

Here is a video I recorded showing how far the installer got.

My first thought was my Asus 15N wifi card. Took that out and it blanked at the same spot.

This is the hardware that I am using:
  • Asus Sabertooth X58
  • i7-950 Bloomfield
  • G.SKILL DDR3 1600 (6GB)
  • GeForce GTX 570

I see a few threads on new Sabertooth boards but nothing was applicable to me.

The last line in the video is
Code:
AppleRTL8169Ethernet: Ethernet address bc:ae:c5:29:78:ba

i think you need to use the AppleACPIPlatform Rollback, as x58 asus boards cant boot without it.
best to ask someone like eelhead who has/had the board. he knows how to get past it

Need 20 posts to PM? Bummer. Is there a download link that I just replace the kext file with?

It is in Multibeast. From the MB documentation (you should read it if you haven't already):

System
AppleACPIPlatform Rollback
10.6.8 Rollback for ASUS X58 Systems
Replaces the current AppleACPIPlatform.kext in /System/Library/Extensions with an
patched 10.6.8 AppleACPIPlatform.kext by ErmaC for ASUS X58 motherboards running
OS X Lion 10.7.4 or later.
10.8.1 Rollback for ASUS X58 Systems
Replaces the current AppleACPIPlatform.kext in /System/Library/Extensions with the
10.8.1 version. Required on some non-Gigabyte motherboards.

I haven't even made it to the Multibeast steps. I am still trying to get it to boot.

That rollback file did it. Thanks for the tip.
