I'd love to know more about your power supply modifications. I'm having issues with my psu in that it seems to shutting off due to a short or a ground fault, or something.

I've posting a thread here http://www.tonymacx86.com/powermac-g5/89381-power-supply-fail.html looking for answers, but so far my problem persists.

If you get the time and the desire I'd love to get some feedback from you as to what might be going on.

Did you throw away any of the original parts from the power supply???

They are Mounted on top of my Dvd burner.
2 60g ssds

Nope. I resoldered the incoming power lines to the g5 case socket and got rid of the on/off switch. Maybe that's what it is.

I think I need to buy a new psu at this point and try it again.
