Thunderbolt with GA-X99-UD4

Does anyone know of any Thunderbolt add-in cards that will work with the Gigabyte X99-UD4?

I'm looking at this on Newegg and hoping this would give me Thunderbolt capability.
ASRock Add-On Card Model Thunderbolt 2 AIC

I may be mistaken, but wouldn't you have to use a Gigabyte Thunderbolt card (this one: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5210#ov) with a Gigabyte motherboard? I wouldn't expect that to work across manufacturer's products because of the custom motherboard header connection.

Yes, I'm guessing I would have to use a Gigabyte card. However they don't sell that card any more (discontinued), I've searched high and low and haven't been able to find a place that sells it. I've also been considering selling my current motherboard to get one that has Thunderbolt capability, only because there's some nice audio interfaces that only run on Thunderbolt. I'd be willing to spend a few bucks and pick up a card and test it, but if it doesn't work then I'm stuck with a card that I can't use.

The same here, I've got the same GA-X99-UD4 and wanted Thunderbolt but couldn't find a Gigabyte TB2 card. I did read one review on Amazon for the Asus ThunderboltEX II card which some one reported working with an ASRock X99 board so I'm guessing X99 series will only support TB2 and the mobo must have the special TB header to connect to the card.
