Thunderbolt Display compatibility

Hi everyone,

I have already a Thunderbolt Display and I'm looking to build a hackintosh for video editing (AE, Premiere Pro).I was thinking of a GA-Z77X-UP5-TH MOBO with a GTX-580 GPU. From what I red here, the thunderbolt display can work only with the HD4000. Does it mean that the GPU will not be able to work for AE or Premiere?

Thank you guys,

I was hoping someone would have chimed in on this already.

I'm not using discrete GPUs so can't comment other than I suspect the GPU without a monitor connected can still be used for CUDA/etc processing by Premiere.
But I can't provide the confirmation you're looking for. Hopefully someone here can.
