I am currently trying out Mavericks on a late 2012 Mac Mini. I have a Gigabyte Z77 Hackintosh which I will be planning to upgrade soon. I have noticed after updating from ML, in System Preferences > Network Settings after installing Mavericks a new device driver called Thunderbolt Bridge appears. Could this be what I think it is? A new network based adapter from Apple based on TB technology? :0

This is a great thing, but don't get too excited. Until the Apple OS recognizes the thunderbolt adapters on our motherboards, you'll never get this working. I have a MacBook Pro with Mavericks and the "thunderbolt bridge adapter" shows up in networking. It doesn't show up on my UP5 TH mobo with Mavericks, however. You need two to tango.

We really need the hackintosh community to get around to creating a kext so our thunderbolt adapters are recognized -- which should hopefully enable hotswap along with it.
