Please let me know if there is any error and how to fix it...big big big TKS

I've removed
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>PCIRootUID</key>
<string>1</string>
from chameleon.plist and now I'm getting
can't create an apple id, please wait a moment and try later....

ops

It's simple to fix. Chimera is an old v 2.0 of Chameleon. And the new chameleon v2.1 fixes this so to fix FaceTime and iCloud the easy way just install this and done: http://alturl.com/zpkru or mirror link: http://bit.ly/oNGF20

this is same Chameleon 2 r1627 that I have installed...so...nothing for now
btw rollback to MacPro 3,1 because of video performance

I tried every single Method, it just don't work !!!!!
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

First: I upgraded to Chameleon revision: 1618 with iCloud & FaceTime fix (using Chameleon Wizard Dropbox & update )

Second: Make sure that my serial & smbios info are complete and checking the serial via (https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do) & it's detected

Third: Checking that "/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist" and even deleted it and restarted and it's already built-in & en0 !!!
Code:
<string>en0</string>
<key>IOBuiltin</key>
<true/>
Fourth: adding to org.chameleon.boot.plist
Code:
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>PCIRootUID</key>
<string>1</string>
What can i do Now !!!!!

Hi All -

I just wanted to let you guys know that Chameleon's new trunk fixes both Facetime and iCloud while being compatible with RAID 0.
Check out the trunk here:

http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleon/issues/169/

Hopefully, it'll be merged into the Chimera branch soon!

Cheers /gx

Just wanted to voice some support:

I had this issue, and error message, with my 10.7.2 update as well.

1. I followed the advice to get my ethernet set to en0 (formerly it was en1) by deleting everything from the network system preferences, deleting two preference/.plist files, rebooting, and then making sure to create the ethernet network setting (I don't even have an ethernet cable) before setting up airport.

That got me to a new warning, the one about expiring or something... AKA the serial number issue.

2. I wasn't sure if I could use Chameleon Wizard with Chimera (I haven't done extension migration... only because my system seems fine and boots fast without it). Instead, I just took my serial number (from Extra org.chimera.whatever), changed a single digit from one of the 3 digit non-date/place part of the serial, repaired permissions, rebooted.... and iCloud would let me log in.

(I also checked that my new serial number still showed up as mac pro 3,1 in that link that's floating around where you put in the serial and it pulls up what you've "made.")

Oh... and while iCloud might be super, super sweet in the future... I don't find it of much use right now.

Well, I finally get icloud to work and this is what i did:
I went to http://prasys.info/2009/09/guidecreatin ... ios-plist/ and http://prasys.info/2009/11/understandin ... al-number/
and start to play with serials on at http://www.powerbookmedic.com/identify-mac-serial.php based on macpro3,1 I choose a code for refurbished, then 8 means 2008 then 11 that means march...the three caps letters for my id, and XYL (macpro3,1)
then I went to apple and generate my apple id and check at apple support page if it is used for someone to be 99% sure that mine is unique...then I've associated my serial to my apple id account. After all, I've paste the generated serial on my smbios.plist reboot and It works...

Could you explain in detail how you play with sireal number (all process) Thank you

^ I also changed a single digit and it works.

I went to the Apple page and it says the number cannot be found in their records, is that good for me?

It cannot be found because the "device" is not registred...so it's free to use
