I am interested in purchasing a graphics card so I can play video games on my Windows partition. I am thinking about purchasing this card: http://www.microcenter.com/product/...Superclocked_1024MB_GDDR5_PCIe_x16_Video_Card

EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 1GB

I have the following specs:

  • Gigabyte Z87-D3HP
  • Intel i7-4770K
  • Intel HD 4600 Integrated Graphics
  • 16 GB memory

I've heard here and there that the EVGA Nivida GeForce 750 does not currently work with Mavericks 10.9.2. Can someone confirm this before I go out and drop $150 on this card?

its not on the recommended buyers guide but it may work with some difficulties getting it going

What card would you recommend for under $200 that's perfect for gaming yet still compatible with Mavericks 10.9.2?

Is there an up-to-date database of all the NVIDIA graphics cards that are known to work with Mavericks 10.9.2?

Look at the March 2014 tonymacx86 Buyer's Guide's Graphics Card section for March 2014. (The April 2014 Buyers Guide had most of the nVidia 600 series removed because availability is scare.)
