Can somebody help, have a GA-Z77X-UP5 TH mainboard and i can't get audio working - ALC1150. Tried with Multibeast 8.0.1, i can see under Kernel and Kext Patches that Multibeast did insert some values.

With audio_cloverALC-110_v1.0l.command by toleda i get following error: "Error: no IOReg/HDEF; BIOS/audio/disabled or ACPI problem".

With the Toleda patch:

Add:

FixHDA and addDTGP to dsdt fixes in clover

It didn't fix my audio. In System Information i now have:

Intel High Definition Audio:

Audio ID: 0

Just to be sure, did you clean up all the edits you already tried?

Try this:

Remove all edits done by MultiBeast and Toleda patch
Keep the dsdt fixes
Reboot
Mount EFI
Run Toleda patch and choose Id 2, do not add Intel HD 4600 patch (the patch should add some stuff to clover config and a kext (Realtek-something.kext) to clover/kexts/10.11)
Reboot

Sorry I'm on mobile currently and can't remember the exact names.

First thanks you all for your support.

I have working audio ALC1150 with Multibeast 8.0.1 on GA-Z170X-UD5 TH now! But, i think the quality is not the best, somehow the sound is not like HD quality, tried different flac musics.

Sound settings output is "IntSpeakers" (Type: Build-in) is this correct?
Should i enable DSP in BIOS? But then the sound does not work.

Hey guys, looking for a quick answer here. I have a i7-6700k and am looking for a mobo to pair it with. I know it's rough right now but in your opinion what is the most compatible mobo now and your guess in the future? From looking around it seems that Asus and Gigabyte are the most tried at the moment.

I need to say that my "Mackintosh" is running like a charm :)

And thanks to Gigabyte EU1 beta bios received from support today i now have 32GB RAM.

Some Photos :)

do you have a guide yet for your exact setup?

Any particular reason for the ud5th vs the gaming 7?

Hi --cj--

I have the same motherboard and cpu as you, but use integrated graphics HD530 for now.
With your clover setup I cannot get past the clover menu, i get the prohibited sign stating that MacOSX is not supported on this platform, reason: Mac-B809C3757DA9BB8D.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

mad config! heck of a setup. great going mate!

But why did you buy pci-e ethernet adapter? Isn't the one on the mobo working? I'm assuming both are the same chipsets?
