Swapping Hard Drives

Hello,
I'd like to connect HDD with Windows to use Windows, and to use OSX disconnect Windows HDD and conncet HDD with OSX. Is it possible? I currently have Windows 7 installed on one HDD, and I would use this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...-x-yosemite-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html to install Yosemite on second HDD. Would exchanging HDD's work?

and a http://www.amazon.com/KingWin-2-5-Inch-Internal-Tray-Less-KF-251-BK/dp/B00475DQ6Y/ref=pd_sim_pc_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=131GE6KZR8DK39MRKCVY in by builds.

This lets me swap out any size drive and have a different OS on each drive. Only one OS is connected to the system: the boot OS, so it cannot mess with any other OS installed.
I went this way when I started having too many OS's and not enough SATA ports to install them all.
