I have same board and cpu, but 650 ti instead. i get around 8000-8500 with geekbench. I use Macmini 6,2 profile does that matter or is it because you used Imac or Macpro3,1?

Thanks jus curious
There are some threads is the SSDT forum section that will answer your question. http://www.tonymacx86.com/ssdt/

Short answer, probably not, at least for the iMac SysDefs. I'm using MacPro3,1 on Thunderball; seems to work just fine for me.

faction, Are you using a SSDT?

The MacMini5 and iMac12 SysDefs series are for Sandy Bridge processors according to toleda which makes sense if you look at the processors used in those Apple Mac series (everymac.com).

If you are not going use the default MacPro3,1 with an Ivy Bridge processor, then use Macmini6,1 (i5 processor) or 6,2 (i7 processor). The iMac13 series has power management problems, again, according to toleda who recommends not using them.

If you decide to forgo the default SysDef of MultiBeast, then you'll need a SSDT. So, you open yourself up to a hobby - not something I don't recommend for those folks new to hackintoshing.

Caution to all: you can do harm if you don't do your research.

Thank you Stork for taking care of all the questions for me :)

Broadcom Bluetooth Adapter
http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Technology-Wireless-Broadcom-BCM20702/dp/B007MKMJGO/

-Bought a Broadcom Bluetooth adapter on ebay
-Bought an Apple Wireless Keyboard

***Update 12.01.12***
-Bought an Apple wired USB keyboard. The sleep was very tricky with the Bluetooth keyboard, maybe because I needed an IOGear USB adapter instead of Broadcom.

Hi djsmootht,

Are you still using the GMYLE (TM) Micro USB Bluetooth 4.0 Dongle ?

Have you resolved the sleep problems that you felt were due to the GMYLE ?

The reason why I ask is because the IOGear is too expensive here in the UK because it is imported but the GMYLE is affordable at £11 so i'm thinking of buying one.
